Ultimate Guide to the Fashion Museum
The Fashion Museum is one of the most interesting museums in the city. To help you with your trip, we’ve put together the ultimate guide to the Fashion Museum! Enjoy.
Sartorial Museum
Housed in the magnificent Assembly Rooms, the Fashion Museum holds a world-class collection of contemporary and historic dress. It’s really worth a trip, featuring all sorts of garments including Georgian gowns and cutting edge contemporary fashion. More than 160 figures chronicle the story of fashionable dress over the past 400 years. You’ll also find a dressing-up area where children and grownups alike, can try on coats, hats, corsets, dresses and bonnets and have a photo taken against an image of Bath’s Royal Crescent. We recommend combining your trip with a walk along the river Avon and lunch at a nearby pub! Lovely stuff!
