Ultimate Guide to Oxford Cowley Road Carnival
The Cowley Road carnival is a sensational annual celebration of Oxford’s diversity. Featuring a dazzling array of costumes, music, food and drink, the carnival is a chance to celebrate a different side to Oxford – beyond the college cloisters and stuffy institutions of the city centre. Most students don’t even know it exists, but they don’t know what they’re missing out on! Afterwards head for a rum and ting at the Cowley Road’s (in)famous Jamaican Bar “Hi-Lo”, which stays open until the wee hours of the morning.
