Best Things to do in Botley
Botley is an up and coming area of west Oxford. To help you with your trip, we’ve put together a guide for the best things to do in Summertown. Enjoy!
Warehouse Bar
Botley is the Kreutzberg of Oxford. So said no one ever, but if they did they did they would probably be referencing the recently established Tap Social Movement. Hidden away in a warehouse in Botley is a real gem. The Tap Social is a craft brewery and community space which provides training and employment to people currently serving or recently released from prison sentences. The beer is delicious, and live music can be found there most nights of the week. Incredible!

Riverside Pub
Next on our list of the best things to do in Botley is a fantastic riverside pub. The Punter has been serving delicious fare to residents of West Oxford for years. We recommend heading there at lunchtime for a selection of incredible £5 lunches, or in the evenings, where the gorgeous pub is lit by candlelight. The pub has a great atmosphere and is definitely worth checking out on your trip to Botley.

Amazing Dosa
One of the most longstanding best cheap eats in Oxford is Dosa Park. A staple of the Oxford food scene, Dosa park has been serving delicious vegetarian Indian food to residents and students alike for a decade. The Dosa (a long, thin pancake served with a variety of delicious little chutneys and curries) is definitely worth a try, but the truth is pretty much everything on the menu is good. Wash down your curry with a mango lassi – yum!
