Port Meadow is a stunning park, and one that can be all too easily missed on a trip to Oxford! To help you avoid this mistake, we’ve put together our ultimate guide to Port Meadow. Enjoy!
Port meadow is one of the most stunning places in the whole of Oxford. The flat fields and wide rivers of the meadow, punctuated by grazing cattle and meandering geese, are like something from a medieval painting. In the summer, Port Meadow is the perfect place to come for a picnic and a wild swim. We recommend spending a few hours wandering around the fields and river, then heading to the famous Perch pub for a delicious pub lunch. Lovely stuff!
