What Is Divinity School?
The Divinity School is one room in the Bodleian Library complex. It occupies the lower storey of Duke Humphrey’s Library. Construction began in 1427 and it lasted until 1488 when it became the University’s first purpose-built lecture hall. It was also used for oral exams and theology discussions.
